I was really nervous about going for my exam.. so my older sister let my go and see her get hers. it was really helpful though I felt a bit weird watching!

If anyone's nervous about their's and have and older sis, ask if you can tag along sometime. It really helped my understand what was gonna happen.

I had mine done with just the doctor, a nurse, and my mother in the room.
It really isn't that bad compared to a Rectal Exam and being described the process of a Pap Smear.

It's really not that scary though, any of them.

Yeah my sis had all those done, just so i could see what they were like. Was it weird with your mom there?

Why would you want your mum to be there?

Because I was underage at 16 and had to?
Because it was my first exam of that nature and I was nervous?
Because she's my mother and I know she won't judge me no matter what?
Because I can't remember jack about what the doctor is saying?
Because she was worried about my health?
Because I could have had a variety of problems based on my symptoms?
Because she's my mother and I love her?
Because the doctor wanted to talk to her as I was getting my exam done so she could tell her what it wasn't right away?
Because my mother is one of the few people who can help get me relaxed?
Because she's the messenger of our family and tell others what's going on?
Because I needed a ride?
Because she's my mother and therefore has to be with me during medical things as I'm under her insurance?
And because she's been there for all my medical troubles since I was a kid, it's only natural for her to be around.

Why wouldn't I want my mother there?
And how is it weird?

I should add I only got the exam because of medical problems I was having at the time.
And then I got better.

Well, I'm kindda Happy the age here is 14.
But because you didn't go for the same reasons people usually go, I guess it's different.
It's the kind of thing I don't want my parents to hear about.

Those are extremely uncomfortable to me.. Sex don't bother me but just having someone examine it does, I had a girl at first be she was hella rough with my stuff, so I switched to a guy and he is so gental I dont know why that is lol. I just dont like them period!

Yeah it's great if you can have someone you trust come with you, for that moment when you have to open your legs to basically a stranger!

I had to have a rectal check and when i was lying on my front with the doctor inserting big metal things into my bottom I was glad to have her hand to squeeze!

Oh gawd a parent is the last thing I want in the room with me when im getting an exam down there >.>
When I was getting checked for a yeast infection I made sure she was very far away from me....nor do I want to watch someone get theirs done.How does that help at all?
