Default Motion Sickness and Video Games

For some reason I only get motion sickness when playing Fallout 3. I'll just feel like vomiting and I'll get small migraines. Any way to help stop the symptoms?

Take a quarter of a gravol and take some breaks and drink alot of water. It works for me when i play long streaks of halo/cod which results in those symptoms.

Are you sitting really close to the tv/monitor?

Well try sitting a bit farther back, if it's still bothering you go farther back. Or take coojo's advice.

Sitting that close isn't really that good, especially if the TV is big.

I suggest STOP playing, go outside and do something in sunlight for headaches (i get em!!!)

To keep the motion sickness under control, sit further back and take your eyes off the screen every once and while.

If you've been playing for a long enough time, then you should probably go outside and take a break from gaming for a little while. But if you start to get sick only after a moment, perhaps it's because you're straining your eyes too hard to see the screen (I know that in Fallout 3, some areas are very dark). Adjust the display settings so that it's a bit brighter or dim the room a little.

My monitor is not to big (less that 22 inch screen wise). I'll look into the Gravol and ginger pills. As for the breaks I'll try them and see if they help.
