I think I'm pretty much the same online as I am in real life, the only noticeable change I can think of is that I probably think much more carefully about what I'm going to say online because there's always the chance to do so in comment boxes than there is in general conversation.

Well, these are words on a screen you're reading. You make an inference based on those words, only. There are no 'Actions' or behaviors in words, there's no way someone can 'Act' online. they can write, and we can surmise things about someone based on their words (or perhaps, ore accurately, the way they use their words to convey actions)..but it's really 'fill in the blanks' online, it really is more about the reader than the writer.

So, no, I think you'd find that I 'Act' differently IRL.

I'm pretty different. It's easier to be who I am here in the forums rather than in real life. When I show who I really am in the real world, I'm toast for the bullies. I'm no tough guy.XD

IDK if it's technical, or just plain accurate. These are words on a screen, it's like reading a book....most of it is left up to the imagination. The meaning is determined more by our own perceptions, which in turn are largely determined by our needs.

Accurate comes in different forms.
Technical is when you are accurate, but more than what is expected.

So the simplest most accurate forms is
Yes or No

But thats a boring post. =P

But then people do end up in different categories based on what they do online. But what you said does make my head sorta tilt. Because in real life you do the same thing. You say things, put in some gestures and thats it. In the end thats how people act. So online you take out some things such at physical limitation. But words can be as hollow as an empty glass, or as strong as that same glass filled with c4 (lol)

Then i gotta agree with the reader's view. Since it can be taken very different ways. Like what i just said someone can take it as im gonna blow up some school or something.

But in real life that also happens. So if what you said is true then how you act is always different because it is a different "interpreter" all the time. I can't get on you for being over the top about it, i love deep thinking. But in the end you can't be wrong about it.

Now THAT is technical!

Well, I do act different (somewhat) in real life than I do on the internet. I have to basically always act right in real life but when I am chatting with people on forums, I can basically feel comfortable talking about stuff I normally don't feel comfortable talking about in real life. where my personality comes in concern, yes, its the same way on the internet as it is in real life.
