Re: Eating Problem :/
Hi Amyy, I'm Samm. lol....
You need a specialist in eating disorders, a therapist that understands and has lots of experience with these matters. Eating Disorders are a lot different to treat than *other* problems. So, who ever is prescribing your meds (an MD) might be able to refer you to a therapist (talk doctor) to help you with both the eating issues and the feelings.
If this is a life long problem, it might take some time to address...and you're right these behaviors and feelings have now has become the new 'Normal' for you. But, 'Normal' as in typical, not healthy or good.
What you might do, esp. since you recognize that you've got some *issues* with eating that aren't so good, is to still eat small portions of healthy food 3x/day, regardless of your 'hunger'. Instead of responding to the hunger cue (which you've learned long a go to successfully ignore), you want to substitute the clock...so, when you get up in the AM, and at lunch time around noon, and then again at dinner time in the evening, you still sit down and eat small portions of good, healthy food.
You need to change your behaviors before you address the feelings...or maybe more accurately, by addressing the behaviors first, the feelings then follow.
