Icon12 Count your calories

Was going wait untill tomorrow to this but yeah...

In sport today i got to count how many calories i should be having because there is a recommended count but it's different for everyone so i thought i could pass on the information so you know how calories you should be eating.

to convert your weight and height use this trusted website: http://www.albireo.ch/imperialconverter/

*Searches for notebook

Rightio! Here it goes:

Women
BMR = 655 + (9.6 x weight in kilos) + (1.8 x height in cm) - (4.7 x in age years)

Men
BMR = 66 + (13.7 x weight in kilos) + (5 x height in cm) - (6.8 x age in years)

This is not the amount of calories you should be eating

To work out how many calories you need time your orginal BMR with the right number below;

Little or no exercise a week (1 workout per week)
1.2

Lightly active (1-2 time a week)
1.375
Modertaly Active (2-4 times a week)
1.55

Very active (4-6 times a week)
1.725

Extra active (6-7+ times a week) (Only professional athletes should be doing this)
1.9

Example(man):
66 + 876.8 + 875 - 238 = 1579.8
1579.8 x 1.375 = 2172.225

I hope this helped you if you need to loose, gain or maintain a healthy calorie intake.

If you need any help with the working out then please do not hesitate to PM i will keep everything confidential.

Sorry for any spelling or grammer mistakes and i hope this helps you

This is really interesting, I've never seen this way of figuring out suggested calorie intake. Thank you for posting it!
