Default I just want to be like I used to be

I just stopped and thought and looked back on how I used to be before I got obsessed with what I eat, how much I eat, how much I weigh and the likes.

I just really want to go back to not being overly bothered. When I was 14 or 15 I never weighed myself. Like... ever. Now I'm 16, I weigh myself every single day. I can't help looking at food labels to see which one I'd be willing to eat because it has the fewest calories. I can't stand it. I miss not being bothered. I want to be able to eat a bar of chocolate like my friends and not feel disgusting afterwards.

I don't know what happened to make me like this but I would do anything to go back and stop it. I deprive myself of enough calories so when I do up my intake to 900+ my body gains weight and I hate that aspect of being like this too. Like yesterday, I ate more than I normally do in the form of nuts and beans and managed to go up over night from 56kgs to 56.4kgs. I feel horrendous.

I just want it to be how it was before but I don't know how it ever can be in my current mind set.

I don't really know what my question is but I just needed to get it off my chest in the faint hope it might do something.

Helen, two things you can do here: First, get some therapy, tell your folks about your struggle (if they don't know already). Yo would benefit from having a professional help you sort this out and manage those feelings.The other thing is to exert some basic self control. You can choose to not weight yourself, you can choose to not read labels. Don't.

How do I go about telling my parents? D;

And I honestly want to stop looking at labels but there's a part of me that just can't resist >< I don't know how to quash that part ><

Helen, you'd tell your parents the same way you told us.

Tell them you need to talk about something very important, and then start talking. It sounds like your thoughts on the matter are very clear and well defined, the words should flow easily. Just be sure to let them know that you need some hela and want them to arrange that for you.
