Heey, so i was wondering does anyone have the same problem as me because at the moment i don't know anyone, and yeah:P
So for weeks i had a rash on my leg so i went doctors and he gave me some Laratadine tablets, and i have to take them everyday. If i forget to take it the next day i have a really bad rash/swollen eye/swollen lip. Once i had to go school with a swollen eye -_- Basically i have an allergy and no one knows what, well my mum says that anyway. Doesn't affect my life really i just need to remember to take it:P

I don't suffer with this. But in my line of work I have seen people with similar things.

Did the doctor give you just a months supply or is it now a repeat prescription?

its the side effect ... some medicines makes effect defferently. ask ur doctor for details abt side effect. i heard that the blood absorb the content of med. it will last for few days in ur blood

Well it was suppose to be for 10 days, but he said to keep taking them till they stop, so i take them and like after a while i purposley dont take it to see if anything happens

I'm not having any side effects though... I only get a rash/swollen eye or lip if i forget to take my tablet. And what's all this stuff about blood?-_-

Once you've finished this supply you have of thm then I would reccomend you go and see the doctor again and show him what happens once you have stopped taking them...You may need a blood test or something to see whats causing your problems.

I was thinking of that too, cos i finished the first packet, and the doctor gave my mum a second, so i have 17 tablets left, i think i'll see him if i've finished them and nothings changed when i dont have them, i dont really wanna take them for the rest of my life lol

I have really bad year-around allergies and I just wanted to say that if you're still having the issues with the rash, it's likely that the loratadine is not working for you. It doesn't work for me, either, and I was put on several different meds until we found a combination that works for me. Like others said, I would take pictures and go back to your doctor.

Hello Violet Sky It does work for me, but when i forget to take it for one day, that's when the rash's come back. My mum said she'll take me doctors soon! Thankyou!♥
