Default Meditation . ?

Hey dere everyone (:

Kay so, lately i've been stressed out >.> (tis a bummer) and so I'm looking for methods for me to help replenish so I can be "at peace with myself" I guess. I've been pretty irritated and so, does meditation really work?

Dunno, some would say yes others would say it's a placebo effect. You should try various methods of stress relief and when you find one that works, stick wwith it. Different people prefer different methods.

It is believed to work but not for everyone. Try it and if not do some research and see if you can see any othe techniques that you feel may help!

It works well for me. I'm not sure it would work for everybody though. Probably worth checking out though. You might like it.

I didn't find that it worked much for me, but it works for some better than others.
Give it a go and see if you feel super chilled afterwards

I find it is extremely helpful, I have meditated for 16 hours at one time, and I was relaxed, and could think more clearly than I could in weeks.

Try to lay in bed with your eyes closed while listening to music for 30 mins a day. Its fine if you go to sleep, dont fight it. Preferably soft/slow music. Helps me stay sane (If only I could find the time everyday)

Like said above it depends on the person.

I took yoga after losing a bet (FUCK! haha) for a few weeks and it did help me clear my mind better.
It also keeps me calmer. No more raging during videogames haha. But it differs from person to person.

Really all meditating is, is thinking of nothing. You focus on your breath so you dont think about anything else. It helps in stressful situations if you can just "retract" your thought and come back to it nice and calm like. ;D

The only way to know if you like it is to try it for yourself. =)

Forgive the crappy grammar!
