I have created this thread so that people like me can have someone to talk to.

Okay, so last year and halfway through this year i was physically abused. By my stepdad. My stepdad has brain damage and epilepsy but that isnt an excuse for him to have put me through what he put me through. The physical abuse only stopped earlier this year because my stepdad is now having therapy for his anger and moodswings. I felt at the time he started his therapy that i was the one who should have been having a councillor. Things got so bad last year that my mum coud no longer leave me at home on my own with him. I have been with my mum all the time ever since. I will never forgive what he did to me but I will learn to accept it and move on. Even if that isnt yet. He also screwed up my head, made my self esteem plummet which has never risen since but the eorst thinf was going to school with the bruises that I coudnt hide. Like the black eye he gave me a few times that I had to make up a story for. But the rest i think i hid pretty well.That's my story. Thats now and always will be a part of me.

It was at the time but you just learn to block things out i guess. Why what happened?

Omg!!! my dad snuff me one time but my mom said she was going to move to one of the houses her parents have in Los Angeles and he hasn't since.

Well, I feel very sorry that you had to go through this...but he had brain damage..I really think that, although what he did was unacceptable, that he may not have done it had he been well.
