Just noises and things.

It could be like the heating system. I herd shit and then my mom told me it was the heating system. I was 9 back them...

It's probably just the house settling.
The change in temperature can make the wood and metal in the structure and stuff expand/contract a bit, which causes the creaking and shuffling noises.
or as Walter said ^ it could be the heating system rattling.

If you're still worried, then do as previously suggested and listen to some music, or watch a movie or something before bed

Find where the noises are coming from whether it is mice or tree branches or whatever, and beat the hell out of them.
