Default Filling foods?

For the new year I want to lose 15lbs. I'm 156lbs or something at the moment, and I have a lot of excess fat I want to get rid of. The problem is, I'm having trouble finding foods that fill me up. My calorie limit is around 1300 calories, with me exercising 200 off every night. So basically, I'm ingesting 1100 calories a day. That may not seem like a lot, but I gain weight easily, and less calories will keep me from gaining, even if it doesn't exactly keep me from losing .

So...does anyone know of any low-calorie, filling foods? I'm having trouble dieting because I get annoyingly hungry, and I don't want to stuff myself.

I hope your diet doesn't revolve around caloric subtraction through starvation. It is one of the worst ways to lose weight, especially if you're burning off practically nothing compared to the amount of calories you take in. What you have to do is rethink your diet, not subtract from it.

Also, it's vital that you have an organized exercise routine with a set amount of workouts that you perform consistently throughout your weight loss "adventure". Appoint yourself ATLEAST 3 days a week for exercise, but never exercise for more than 5 days a week; rest and recovery is extremely vital. You have to note down everything you've done for the day, how and by what amount you've increased intensity (Your workouts MUST gradually intensify or else they eventually become redundant), how many calories you burned and you can choose the option of noting down how much you wish to burn the next day as a means of motivation.

I would find give you some links that were given to us in my P.E GCSE class for an assignment we had to complete, but I can't remember them or find where I wrote them down. I'm sure a few searches in google will help you find some good websites to learn more about this and get some advice. Go through multiple websites though, don't rely on one alone. And of course, do your research and find out about all the information you read to make sure it is the most efficient and safe.

Good luck!

The weight you lose from starving yourself comes slowly because it is muscle decay. Your actually making yourself fatter by subtracting muscle mass and starving yourself.

The trick to looking sexy is to become muscular. I'm not talking about a buff macho man. If you have sexy and toned curves then you will be able to keep weight off (because muscles uses energy rather than store it as fat). The key is exercise with the proper diet, and you'll actually wind up eating more than you do.

LOTS of small meals with protein and carbs. Your body knows it will be using up the energy before it needs more, so less will be stored as fat, which is used for long term energy storage.

I'm not starving . I'm eating at least 1300 calories a day, which isn't nearly starvation mode! If I wanted to starve, I'd eat 900 a day or less. Which I could never handle xD.

I meant by eating less food. Anyway that's besides the point. Nobody's telling you to eat 900 calories a day or less. Just read over what I said or whatever Zach told you on MSN.

I read everything. The exercise isn't the problem. All I'm asking for are some filling foods to help me keep off my hunger. My stomach is large; I'm used to eating a lot, unfortunately . So I want to shrink it and eat less so that I can be healthier and skinnier.

You're going to have to check the internet to help you with deciding what your diet should consist of, like I said. Some magazines help too.

The trick is to know what to eat. The amount doesn't matter. (:
