Earlier I was masturbating, and I discovered after I had masturbated that there was blood on my hand. Somehow my penis had been cut and was bleeding onto my hand. The bleeding went down quickly, but am I at risk for any kind of infection? And should I just not masturbate until the cut goes away?

I wouldn't masturbate or have sexual intercourse not that you do because it burns when you do and you have a cut. I don't think your stupid enough to do it with a cut.
If I were you, I'd try to find out where you got it and be extra careful next time. Oh, and probably wait for the cut to heal before masturbating.

Can you see the cut? if it's on the outside make sure you clean it.
If it's on the inside I advise you visit a doctor, there isn't much they can do, but they'll put you on antibiotics and tell you to not move too much, urine is anti-septic, so even without care it would probably be fine, but you can't be too careful...
Do not masturbate until the wound heals, as you risk an infection otherwise. It won't take long to heal, as the penis skin is not as deep as "normal skin", and you don't have to get too deep for it to bleed. After all, you need a blood accumulation in your penis for it to erect, as such, the wound is probably light even though it bled.
If it doesn't heal in a week or so, consult a doctor for antibiotics. Other than that, just wait for it to heal.
