Better keep it that way, or else the hair will grow tougher/rougher and therefore, not so pleasing to touch. (unless you wax it, which is way more painful) My opinion though.

Nahh, it doesn't necessarily grow back like that. How it grows back is completely up to your genes. Do what you want man. I don't have much at all so not a problem but once I do start growing a lot of it I'll be keeping it under control. Don't need a jungle, but I also don't want to look like a child
