When it first got cut there was a white layer underneath, and a little white stuff, which I read was fat :p Idk lol It definitely hurts to the touch and sometimes aches a little bit. I figured it wasn't really bad or anything it just doesn't seem to be progressing like other injuries would.

Oh, okay. Not as bad is I was afraid it might be. How long have you had it?

About a week and a half. I figured it would start healing by now but there's this cycle of it looking better then breaking open again :p Sooo that's why I came to you guys lol

Shallow lacerations usually hurt more than deep ones because the second layer of skin(the dermis) is where the nerve endings are, so them being exposed makes it really painful. I suppose the exception to this would perhaps being awake and not under local anesthetic during major surgery or something, but as a general rule, that's how it works.

Hence why paper cuts can pretty much make you want to cry but then you can get some nasty cut and sometimes not even know how it happened.

Just take care of it and it should be fine. It'll probably start healing here pretty soon. Just keep an eye on it and you'll be alright.
