My friends think I do because I draw lines on my desk around my keyboard, mouse, lamp, and monitor so they're always in the same spot. It's just being clean! I never have to spend time straightening the lamp or monitor or keyboard!
OCD is a psychological disorder , the only person that can tell you is the one that studied very well the Field of "Clinical psychology" which i dont remember if we have any of those in Teen Forumz xD
you can have a chat with your parents and get it checked if you wish . But yeah as the above said we or you can't just simply diagnose such thing .
Anybody can become angry , Thats really easy ...
but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.
Throughout your day, do you:
~ constantly and vigorously think about being neat (such as drawing lines around desk objects) to the point that it interrupts daily thought in school or work;
~ worry that if you don't follow certain tasks (such as drawing these lines), something seriously bad may happen;
~ preoccupy your time with physical compulsions (movements or actions that you feel you must do) with regards to this issue;
~ feel that in any way you are unable to function day to day at school or work without thinking or acting in a way that suggests you are obsessive and/or compulsive about cleaning (or other things)?
Of course, I'm not a psychiatrist, nor a psychologist and I don't think there are any on Teen Forumz. If you ask yourself the above questions and reach some sort of conclusion that convinces you to go and see a professional, then I believe a psychiatrist or a psychologist will be able to give you the most help.
Seriously though, your friends sound like they're just poking fun a little and if it doesn't bother you, I wouldn't even give it a second thought.
Id almost say you're not even close. I'm OCD and I know a lot of OCD people, and with every one of them the lines on something would actually very much annoy them because it's messy in a way. Idk if that's true for all OCD things but yeah what Slightly said.
